Call for papers
We extended the abstract submission deadline by popular demand until 9 April 2022.
The Continuous Innovation Network (CINet) is a global network set up to bring together researchers and industrialists working in the field of Continuous Innovation. Consistent with its mission, CINet organizes an annual conference. This announcement concerns the 23rd CINet conference, which will take place in Pisa, Italy. The theme of the conference is “Pursuing Innovation for a Smart & Sustainable Future”.
Furthermore, coinciding with the 23rd CINet conference, a PhD workshop is organized on 9-10 September. Besides that, a CIYA Workshop will be organized on 11 September, aimed at young academics working in the field of continuous innovation.
The format
Three types of contributions are invited:
- “Full papers” of up to 5,000 words – to report research that has been completed.
- “Research notes” of up to 2,000 words – for example, to propose a research idea, seek research collaboration, describe a research design, or report work-in-progress.
- Practitioner presentations – primarily focused on sharing and discussing (continuous) innovation practice and experience.
Journal specials and paper development workshop
While most papers presented at the conference are not ready for publication, many provide a good starting point but require additional work before they are publishable. CINet organizes a paper development workshop for papers selected for two journal special issues approx. two months after the conference, to help the invited authors to develop their paper to publishable standard.
Interested in presenting your paper?
Submit your extended abstract for double blind peer review before 18 March 2022.
