Dominik Kanbach 

Beyond Algorithms: Managing Strategic Innovation and Human-Centricity in times of (Generative) AI

Dominik K. Kanbach is Full Professor and Chairholder of Strategic Entrepreneurship at LHHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Germany and Research Professor at the University of Warsaw in Poland. He leads the Strategic Entrepreneurship Research Group at HHL and is the is co-founder and Academic Director of DIGITAL SPACE – The HHL Digital Transformation Platform focused on incubating digital business models. His research interest covers the fields of strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation management, especially in the context of Artificial Intelligence. He has published over 100 articles in leading international peer-reviewed journals and holds several editor positions. Before joining academia, he worked as a strategy consultant for several years. He teaches courses on strategic management, entrepreneurship and innovation management in top universities and business schools around the world. He has received numerous research and teaching awards and the leading German business magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” ranked him among the top 2% of scholars in the German-speaking countries in December 2024.

Theodor Beutel 

 

Theo works for the Ethereum Foundation as a Project Manager on incubation, academia and FLOSS matters. He also contributes to the project “Decentralised Decision-Making in DAOs: Learnings for Digital Democracy” at the Centre for Democracy Studies Aarau (ZDA), University of Zurich. Throughout 2018–2023, Theo was Governance Lead at Safe, a Gnosis spin-out and VitaDAO, an early DeSci DAO, contributed to Colony, DAOstack's Genesis DAO, DAO Incubator, Bundesblock, and explored the use of blockchain in international development cooperation at GIZ Blockchain Lab.

Sabrina Wollenschläger 

Blockchain Zug : Joint Research Imitative

Sabrina Wollenschläger is Co-Managing Director of the Blockchain Zug Joint Research Hub and Senior Researcher at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). She has nine years of experience in blockchain and distributed-ledger technologies. Before joining HSLU she worked as a senior consultant, providing services for DLT projects and startups, and later as a researcher at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), focusing on DAOs and blockchain with an emphasis on governance from an organisational perspective. She is active as a board member and advisor in the Swiss startup community and will be starting her PhD soon.
