Data and platforms in the new normal | Roberto Verganti is Professor of Leadership and Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he co-directs "The Garden - Center for Design and Leadership". He is also in the faculty of the Harvard Business School where he teaches Integrated Design, and he is co-founder of Leadin'Lab, the laboratory for LEADership, Design and Innovation, at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. He has been a visiting scholar at the Copenhagen Business School and at the California Polytechnic University. At Politecnico di Milano he has been the founder and first director of the School of Doctoral Programs (with more than 800 PhD students) and of the Alta Scuola Politecnica (the school on Multidisciplinary Innovation for top 2% master students). Roberto serves on the Advisory Board of the European Innovation Council of the European Commission.
Wim Vanhaverbeke
Digital technologies and the role of innovation ecosystem management: examples from agriculture and healthcare | Wim Vanhaverbeke is professor of Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Surrey Business School. He is also visiting professor at ESADE Business School (Spain) and till recently at the National university of Singapore. He is Co-editor-in-Chief of TECHNOVATION since january 2020. He published in several international journals such as Organization Science, Research Policy, California Management Review, Journal of Management Studies, Small Business Economics, Journal of Business Venturing, Technovation. He was co-editor with Henry Chesbrough and Joel West of “Open Innovation: Researching a New Paradigm” (OUP, 2006) and “New frontiers in open innovation” (OUP, 2014). He published a management book “Managing open innovation in SMEs” (CUP – 2017) and an academic volume “Researching open innovation in SMEs” (World Scientific Press - 2018).
