Who are we

CINet is a global, inclusive community of researchers, educators, and practitioners who share a common interest in understanding, enabling, and managing creativity and innovation in all their forms.

In a world marked by rapid technological change, societal transformation, and pressing grand challenges, organizations increasingly depend on creativity, learning, and innovation across teams, functions, sectors, and organizational boundaries to create sustainable value. CINet supports this development by bringing together a diverse international community, facilitating exchange across academia and practice, and organizing conferences, workshops, early-career activities, and collaborative research initiatives.

We foster an open and collegial environment that values pluralism in theories, methods, disciplines, and empirical contexts. Members engage in dialogue across research traditions and career stages, collaborate on research and teaching initiatives, and jointly explore how creativity and innovation contribute to organizational performance and societal progress.

Inclusiveness and community

Inclusiveness is a core value of CINet. The network welcomes contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to management, organization studies, psychology, sociology, engineering, design, entrepreneurship, and public policy.

For senior scholars, CINet offers a unique platform for intellectual exchange, shaping research agendas, mentoring the next generation, and engaging in long-term scholarly collaborations across disciplines and continents.

CINet is also strongly committed to supporting junior scholars. We actively create spaces where PhD students and early-career researchers can receive feedback, build networks, develop academic skills, and find their place within the international research community. Mentorship, developmental workshops, and a collegial conference culture are central elements of the CINet experience.
